We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Café Supervisor to join our café. The ideal candidate will help manage daily café operations, support staff, serve customers, and also assist with purchasing inventory and supplies.
Key Responsibilities
The Café Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Supervising daily café operations and ensuring smooth service
- Working hands-on in the café, including taking orders, preparing/packing food, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness
- Managing and guiding café staff during shifts
- Ensuring excellent customer service
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying inventory needs
- Driving to purchase ingredients, packaging, and other café supplies as needed
- Receiving, organizing, and storing inventory properly
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are followed
- Helping with opening and closing duties
- Reporting any issues, shortages, or maintenance needs to management
- Supporting management with scheduling, staff coordination, and day-to-day problem solving
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous café, restaurant, food service, or supervisory experience preferred
- ** Must be available on Weekends and STAT holidays as that will be the busiest time of them week **
- ** Must have a car to be able to pick up inventory as required** ( you will be compensated for gas **
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good customer service attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Knowledge of Indian snacks/food is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for inventory and supply runs
- Ability to lift and carry inventory items when needed
Pay: $20.00 per hour
