Summary
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team in Calgary, AB. This role involves creating and maintaining dynamic websites (3) that showcase our safety lighting products, supporting our mission to improve rider safety worldwide. The ideal candidate will be based in the Calgary area and passionate about web development.
Responsibilities
Customize and maintain WordPress websites (3) to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing themes and layouts.
- Integrate third-party APIs and plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Ensure website security, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices.
- Optimize website performance for speed and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain documentation of website configurations and updates.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.
- Update / add products as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with API integrations, especially REST APIs.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments and domain management.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Experience with SEO best practices, UI/UX design principles, and Agile methodologies.
