PROFILE
Marketing has the power to build connections, strengthen relationships, and shape how people experience a brand. At Gowling WLG, marketing plays an important role in creating profile, supporting business growth, and helping us engage meaningfully with clients, colleagues, and communities.
We're looking for a bold, strategic, and collaborative Marketing Specialist to influence how we show up in the market and with clients. In this newly created role, reporting to the Brand & Marketing Leader, you’ll support the Firm’s growth engine and brand-to-demand initiatives in a team-based environment. Working closely with colleagues across the Business Development & Marketing department, including our go-to-market channel teams, you’ll lead the way in developing and delivering powerful integrated marketing campaigns, sponsorships, brand programs, and initiatives that support the Firm's growth objectives across Canada, while enhancing our market presence, reputation, and client engagement.
A proven program manager and marketing professional with a strong client service orientation, you'll bring creativity, storytelling, attention to detail, and sound business judgment to help translate Firm priorities, market opportunities, and practice and sector strengths into effective marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, intellectually curious, and driven by impact. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, anticipate needs before they arise, bring forward new ideas, and take ownership of outcomes—not just tasks. A lifelong learner, you’re dependable, thoughtful, and focused on delivering excellence from start to finish.
For the right candidate, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to expand your brand and marketing expertise and lead initiatives from the ground-up in a dynamic professional services environment, supported by a collaborative team and leaders who want to help you succeed.
