MM Energy is growing and we are looking to add great people to our team! MME is currently seeking Instrumentation Journeymen to join our team. Based in Sherwood Park, our journeymen are critical members of the team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrumentation specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Install, calibrate, commission, and maintain a wide variety of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, level, and flow devices.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
- Install and terminate instrumentation cabling including fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies.
- Perform loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
- Work with PLCs, DCS systems, and control panels including wiring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Inspect and test instruments and systems to diagnose faults using appropriate testing devices.
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Assist with shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including calibration reports and redlines.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Journeyman Instrumentation Technician, registered (Red Seal considered an asset)
- Must have industrial instrumentation experience
- Experience with PLCs and control systems is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must show initiative and work well independently and with a team
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A demonstrated ability to work safely

- Aerial Work Platform / Elevating Work Platform
- First Aid – nice to have
- CSTS
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license, three-year driver abstract
- Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol pre-employment test
