We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, especially for Flooring-related items
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive and organized product presentation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product information
- Handle cashiering duties including basic math calculations and processing transactions efficiently
- Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to enhance the shopping environment
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers both in person and over the phone
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
