Experienced Server / Bartender
Strathcona Beer Company – North Vancouver
Strathcona Beer Company is looking for an experienced, energetic Server/Bartender to join our team at our North Vancouver taproom located in the vibrant Lonsdale Quay Market.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences. If you have a passion for craft beer, great food and working with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a part-time position, and weekend availability is required. Applicants must be available to work Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Additional weekday shifts may be available based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, attentive and professional table service
- Prepare and serve beer, cocktails, wine and non-alcoholic beverages
- Confidently guide guests through our food and beverage menus
- Process orders and payments using our POS system
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to ensure exceptional service
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming work environment
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Follow all food safety, liquor service and company standards
Qualifications
- Previous serving and bartending experience in a restaurant, brewery, pub or hospitality environment
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy service periods
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Craft beer knowledge is an asset but not required
