About the Role
Black Walk Investments Inc. is a real estate investment group managing multiple companies and properties. We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable across our intercompany structure. This is a hands-on role requiring strong organizational skills, experience with QuickBooks online, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Enter all payables into the corresponding QuickBooks company file
- Enter visa payments and process expense reports
- Perform visa splits and allocations across companies
Accounts Receivable
- Track tenant e-transfer and direct payments
- Enter payments into Buildium and QuickBooks
- Enter charges for A/C as requested by property managers
- Pull late payment reports for all properties
Data Entry & Reconciliation
- Enter all intercompany transfers between companies
- Enter bank charges
- Reconcile bank accounts across all companies
- Set up new tenant accounts in Buildium and QuickBooks per property manager request
- Enter rental increases in Buildium and QuickBooks as directed by property managers
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks (required) and Buildium (preferred)
- Familiarity with intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data entry accurately
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- AI proficient — comfortable using AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with property managers and internal team
- Experience in real estate or property management an asset
Pay: $50,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
