Atlas Anchor Systems (B.C.) Ltd. (Atlas) is a well-established industry leader in providing permanent fall protection systems solutions for both new and retrofit construction projects.
Atlas is looking for a talented full time Project Coordinator in the Vancouver head office. The successful applicant will be integral to the scheduling and coordination of project’s deliverables, installation, and certification of completed work.
Responsibilities include
- Responding to and requesting information from clients via email and phone communications.
- Coordinating within Atlas departments to execute project requirements.
- Organizing design coordination meetings with Atlas staff and clients.
- Documenting project progress in various logs in Outlook, Excel, and file management systems
- Managing Atlas shop drawings submittals to and from clients.
- Maintaining correspondence with clients for accurate construction schedules to plan and schedule project timelines and deliverables.
- Ordering custom products from suppliers based on fabrication drawings.
- Organizing product deliveries with courier companies.
- Scheduling installations based on construction schedules.
- Monitoring and updating working in progress (WIP) report for project invoicing.
- Visiting active construction sites to perform field reviews.
Qualifications
Successful experience working in construction with Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Contractors, and/or Developers is preferred. Preference given to those who are knowledgeable of construction with an ability to read Architectural and Structural drawings.
- Minimum 1 year experience in project management.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
- Possess a valid drivers' license.
- Proficient with MS Office 365 products including Project Planner
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and to make decisions using sound judgement
- Superior problem-solving skills
