Position: Landscaping Lead
Location: Charleswood, MB
Compensation: $25–$30+/hr (based on experience)
Employment Type: Potential Year-Round Full-Time, Seasonal (Spring–Fall)
About the Role
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented candidates with at least one season of landscaping experience who are eager to learn and grow with our company. This position is for someone who has previous landscape experience looking to join a growing team, and help lead others in the feild.
Preferred experience:
- 1 full Season of "Landscape Construction" experience (not lawn care)
- experience in equipment (skid steer, excavator etc.)
- Full License and truck and trailer experience.
- Ability to lead others in a crew and problem solve independently.
Please note: This role is not intended for short-term summer employment. We are seeking candidates interested in long-term growth within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Brickwork and hardscaping
- Operation of skid steers and mini excavators
- Driving trucks with trailers
- Assisting with landscape planning and project execution
- Performing other general landscaping tasks as required
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Personal smartphone with data (for maps and work applications)
- Minimum 1 year of lawn care or landscaping experience preferred
- Physically capable of working 10-hour days in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
- Reliable transportation to our shop in Charleswood for daily start times
