Junior Quality Analyst, Manufacturing - Permanent - 19292
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established Canadian precision manufacturing organization, is seeking a Junior Quality Analyst to join its Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in quality assurance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced quality professionals, you will help ensure products meet customer specifications while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining the organization's commitment to quality excellence. The position is onsite and offers opportunities for growth within the organization.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Perform inspections of manufactured parts and materials to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
Monitor production processes and identify quality concerns
Collect, record, and analyze quality data
Assist with statistical process control activities
Prepare non conformance reports and maintain quality documentation
Operate electronic inspection equipment and measuring devices
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and cosmetic standards
Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions
Support ISO quality management processes and audits
Work collaboratively with production staff to resolve quality issues
Assist Quality Inspectors on the production floor when required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
High school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary education in manufacturing, engineering technology, quality assurance, or a related discipline is considered an asset
Approximately one year of experience performing quality inspections or quality assurance activities
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Basic understanding of GD&T and statistical process control is considered an asset
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Comfortable working both in an office environment and on the production floor
Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience is considered an asset
About the Job
Position: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Salary: $49,920.00 to $52,000.00
