Job Description
Guarantee VC is seeking a professional and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will provide support to customers, automotive dealerships, repair facilities, and business partners across Canada. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally in both English and French.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in English and French
- Provide information regarding vehicle warranty contracts, coverage, procedures, and required documentation
- Assist customers, dealerships, and repair facilities with general service and administrative inquiries
- Explain the claims process and direct claims-related matters to the appropriate department
- Review and update customer and contract information
- Document customer interactions and follow-up activities in company systems
- Follow up when additional information or documentation is required
- Assist with contract corrections, document requests, cancellations, and transfers
- Work with the claims, sales, accounting, and administration departments to resolve inquiries
- Handle complaints and difficult conversations professionally
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to management
- Maintain the confidentiality of customer and company information
- Perform additional administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Fluency in spoken and written English and French is required
- Previous customer service or administrative experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email
- Ability to explain policies and procedures clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system is an asset
- Automotive, warranty, insurance, or call centre experience is an asset
