Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support operational needs beyond driving.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Assist with warehouse duties such as freight handling and inventory management when required
Qualifications
- Valid commercial class 3 driver’s licence and airbrake
- Prior experience in septic truck driving
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot heavy machinery and automotive systems as needed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety compliance
- Have driven an septic tank truck is an asset
Pay: $18.50-$24.00 per hour
