Housekeeper – Remote Fly-In Fishing Lodge (Northern Ontario)

Wilderness North is seeking reliable and hardworking Housekeepers to join our team at one of our remote fly-in fishing lodges in Northern Ontario.
Housekeepers play a key role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. This position involves maintaining clean guest cabins and lodge facilities while also assisting with dining room service and kitchen support.
You will work as part of a small, supportive team in a beautiful wilderness setting.
What You’ll Do
Guest Cabin Cleaning
- Clean guest cabins including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens between guest stays
- Dust furniture and vacuum, sweep, wash floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, and appliances
- Wash windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed
Laundry
- Wash, dry, and fold guest linens and towels
- Maintain organized linen storage areas
- Ensure cabins are stocked with fresh towels and supplies
Dining Room Service
- Assist with setting tables before meals
- Serve meals and beverages to guests in the dining room
- Clear tables and reset dining areas between meals
Kitchen Support
- Assist with dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen area
- Help bring dishes, flatware, and supplies to serving areas
- Replenish condiments, coffee, and dining room supplies
Guest Service
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their stay
- Deliver towels or requested supplies to guest cabins
- Assist with guest questions and provide basic lodge information
General Lodge Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of lodge common areas and guest facilities
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Report maintenance or supply issues to management
- Pitch in wherever needed to support the lodge team
Lodge Work Environment
This is a remote lodge position where team members live and work on site for the season. Housekeepers work in a fast-paced environment and should be comfortable with physical work, including lifting, standing, and moving throughout the day.
