Food and Beverage Supervisor - St. Thomas Golf and Country Club
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key role in supporting daily operations of the Food and Beverage department. Reporting directly to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing front-of-house operations, supporting team leadership and development, and ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience across all dining outlets and Club events.
The ideal candidate is hospitality-driven, organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced private club environment with elevated service expectations.
This is a full-time seasonal position with an expected start date of ASAP and expected end date of on/or around December 31st, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily F&B operations including our dining room, Member's lounge, patio service, halfway house, beverage carts and Club events
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to members and guests while maintaining the Club's service standards
- Support the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in the execution of daily operations and departmental initiatives
- Lead by example in professionalism, teamwork, communication and hospitality standards
- Assist with event setup, room preparation and execution, and breakdown for all tournaments, member functions, weddings and other special events
- Coordinate with back of house, events coordinator and other members of management to ensure smooth service execution
- Perform opening and closing duties including cash handling and operational procedures
- Complete Daily Closing Reports (CDR) communicating operational updates and shift overviews directly to the Senior Management Team
- Utilize JONAS POS Software for order entry, member billing, end of day reports, button and menu programming as directed
- Address member concerns or service opportunities professionally and efficiently
- Assist with putting away orders, inventory management, waste reduction initiatives and organization of storage areas
- Ensure compliance with Smart Serve regulations, food safety procedures, and workplace Health & Safety standards including daily walk throughs and inspections
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or a private club setting preferred
- Strong understanding of elevated service standards and member-focused hospitality
- Experience with JONAS POS Software is considered an asset
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in fast-paced environments
- Smart Serve certification is required
- Food Handlers Certification is considered an asset
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, holidays and event-based scheduling
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranging from $19-$23/hour
