We are looking for an experienced accounting and finance professional who can step in and contribute immediately while also helping us improve how the Finance & Administration function operates over time.
For the right person, this role has the potential to grow into a broader Finance & Administration leadership position.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with our accounting team, ownership group, and operating company leaders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and supporting monthly and quarterly management reporting packages across multiple companies.
- Supporting financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Helping leaders understand financial results and make better business decisions.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations, account maintenance, year-end schedules, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Providing higher-level accounting support to the team when needed.
- Acting as a second approver for payments and helping strengthen financial controls.
- Supporting and optimizing approval workflows, reporting processes, and internal systems.
- Helping optimize our cloud-based accounting and finance tools - we are completely paperless, FYI.
- Oversee HR staff and ensure excellent administrative items such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and system access.
- Helping create a proactive, organized, dependable Finance & Administration function.

You enjoy working with people, improving systems, and making processes better. You can focus on details when needed, but also understand the bigger picture.
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you bring:
- CPA designation, or equivalent experience.
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience.
- Financial reporting and management reporting experience.
- Budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and variance analysis experience.
- Balance sheet reconciliation and year-end preparation experience.
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience with cloud-based accounting or business systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to work with both accounting team members and operational leaders.
