Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in the food industry, including food preparation, cooking, and providing excellent food service. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation and service areas
- Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times
- Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, equipment, and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting are essential
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving restaurant needs
