Valley Eats is an online food delivery company bringing the convenience of big-city dining to small-town Ontario. We pride ourselves on supporting local restaurants and communities. Our in-office team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring smooth communication, fast delivery coordination, and excellent experiences for our end users, restaurant partners, and Couriers.
The Role
We are seeking motivated, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our in-office team as Customer & Partner Support Associates. You will be the voice of Valley Eats, handling inquiries, supporting our restaurant partners, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring excellent experiences for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries from end users, restaurant partners, and Couriers with timely and accurate responses.
- Resolve issues or complaints professionally and empathetically.
- Monitor the order management system and resolve scheduling or delivery conflicts as they arise.
- Track delivery status and communicate updates as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all interactions and activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to ensure seamless operations. Identify opportunities to enhance experiences for customers, partners, and Couriers.

- Independent Problem-Solving / Critical Thinking: Able to assess situations, analyze information, and identify solutions independently. Demonstrates initiative and judgment in resolving issues without needing to escalate every decision. Knows when to seek help versus when a problem can be solved on their own.
- Organization & Multitasking: Manage multiple inquiries and tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues, Couriers, and restaurant partners to achieve smooth operations.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Reliability & Professionalism: Dependable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to policies; background check required.
- Handling Challenging Situations: Comfortable managing difficult or irate customers or restaurant partners over the phone. Maintains professionalism, patience, and composure. Addresses issues directly, documents recurring problems, and escalates when necessary according to company procedures.
Availability
- Most hours are evenings & weekends
- Must be available across all shifts
- Shifts typically 5 hours; some may be 3 or 8 hours.
- Average weekly hours: 15–25, based on business needs.
