Greycor Projects Limited, located at 16771 58B Ave, Surrey, British Columbia V3S 2K3, is currently seeking a Construction Site Manager to oversee and execute high-end, single-family residential construction and renovation projects across Lower Mainland.
This full-time, year-round, permanent position offers a wage of $65.00 per hour working 40-hour per week. Benefits including extended health, dental, and vision coverage available after three months of employment.
The position will be working on-site based on the projects’ locations, with English as the language of work.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee and execute full-spectrum renovation work across multiple projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients and internal team members to ensure smooth operations, schedule adherence and quality control.
- Prepare, monitor and report construction schedules, progress and milestones.
- Supervise and manage on-site personnel, such as carpenters, subcontractors and labourers, providing guidance, delegating tasks and ensuring safety, productivity and craftsmanship standards, including performance review.
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications, set up job sites, sequence work, troubleshoot onsite issues, and ensure finishing details meet our high-end benchmarks.
- Manage budget expectations, including reviewing expenses and time entries.
- Schedule internal and subcontracted crews.
- Conduct quality control inspections to maintain standards and minimize rework.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 7+ professional experience across multiple specialties, such as but not limited to, flooring installer, finishing, framework, drywall installation, demolition in residential renovation.
- 2 - 3+ years of previous experience as a supervisor or foreman in single-family housing construction environment; experience with high-end finish work, millwork, or design-build projects is required.
- Ability to lead and supervise crew, coordinating with management, and driving completion of tasks to high standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a personable, professional manner.
- Own a reliable vehicle, hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment across different job sites in the Lower Mainland.
