Plan and coordinate transportation for customer deliveries and internal shipments.
Schedule and monitor transportation equipment to ensure efficient operations.
Manage yard operations, including shunt planning and trailer movements.
Coordinate loading priorities with the Shipping department and communicate shipment details with carriers.
Monitor shipment exceptions, delivery delays, and resolve transportation issues with customers, carriers, warehouse, and traffic teams.
Work closely with the Shipping, Warehouse, and Receiving departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Prepare transportation reports and communicate operational updates to management.
Participate in daily operations meetings and support continuous process improvements.
Perform other transportation and logistics duties as assigned.
