Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours, and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. This role is essential in delivering a seamless guest experience while managing administrative tasks during the night shift. Candidates with multilingual or bilingual skills, hotel experience, and strong customer service abilities are highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures to verify and reconcile financial transactions and ensure accuracy of guest accounts
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing friendly and professional service
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks using hotel management software
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
- Prepare reports for management regarding daily financial activities and occupancy status
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and welcoming throughout the night shift
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, guest services, and hospitality at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, including experience with multi-line phone systems
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management software is advantageous
- Ability to work overnight shifts with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in guest services or hospitality roles is desirable but not mandatory
