Restaurant Supervisor - Wilderness Tours Adventure Resort – Ottawa River

Our onsite restaurant and hospitality spaces serve resort guests, rafting groups, weddings, corporate events, and staff throughout the season. We’re looking for an energetic, organized, and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor who thrives in a lively hospitality environment and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
About the Role
The Restaurant Supervisor helps oversee the daily operations of our onsite restaurant, café, and event food service areas. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and a positive attitude who can lead by example during busy summer operations.
You’ll work closely with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, event teams, and management to ensure guests receive excellent service while maintaining a fun and professional atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant and front-of-house operations
- Support and lead servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and shift organization
- Ensure high standards of guest service and hospitality
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and health & safety standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and restocking as needed
- Coordinate with kitchen and event teams during busy service periods
- Help maintain a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Smart Serve certification
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience in resorts, tourism, or hospitality is an asset

Schedule
This is primarily a seasonal full-time position running spring through fall, with flexible start dates available depending on the candidate. Weekend and evening availability is required during peak season.
