Currently hiring automotive journeyman technician or 4th year apprentice automotive technician apprentice that is motivated, hardworking and willing to be a key member of the Sherwood Kia service team. We aim to offer our customers a fast and efficient service that will leave them feeling satisfied and that their vehicles are in capable hands. On going training is provided along with regular benefits and competitive pay plan to maximize opportunity and hours. The successful applicant will join us in our brand-new facility due to open end of March!
Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough inspections with detailed notes and estimates
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Quality checks including road testing to verify repairs
- Review service history to aid with regular maintenance recommendations
- Maintain KIA certification through on-going training
- Create estimated that outline importance and severity of repairs required
- Complete documentation of all service/repairs performed
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of automotive experience with an Alberta Automotive technician license or 4th year apprentice Blue Book. Red Seal and OPP technicians are an asset.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean drivers abstract
- Dealership experience preferred
- Effective time management
- The ability to identify and communicate clearly to other staff members
- Personal tool kit to complete required repairs/services
