Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting a Production & Warehouse Associate for a growing traffic sign manufacturing company in Moncton, NB. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and wants to learn specialized manufacturing skills. Previous sign-making experience is not required, we provide training. The successful candidate will assist with the manufacturing of traffic signs, warehouse operations, and inventory management while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
JOB DUTIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both the production and warehouse operations. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Manufacturing traffic signs by cutting materials, applying reflective sheeting, weeding and layering vinyl, and finishing signs to specifications
- Operating and maintaining sign production equipment including panel saws, mitre saws, band saws, hydraulic shears and punches, laminators, and vinyl applicators
- Reading and accurately following work orders, drawings, and production specifications
- Picking, packing, and staging customer orders for shipping and pickup
- Receiving, organizing, and storing incoming inventory while maintaining accurate stock levels
- Loading and unloading trucks using safe material handling practices
- Assisting with the assembly of sign posts, bases, stands, and other roadway safety products
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production and warehouse environment
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and production specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing
PPE REQUIREMENTS
- CSA-approved steel-toed work boots are required
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to accurately read and work with measurements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
- Knowledge of and experience safely using hand and power tools
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 100 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or trades experience is considered an asset
- Sign manufacturing, vinyl application, printing, or decal experience is an asset but not required
- Forklift certification is considered an asset
- Clear Criminal Record Check required
RATE OF PAY
Starting at $18.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
- Starting wage based on experience, with opportunity for adjustment for experienced candidates
- Full-time opportunity
WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Immediate start available
