Assembly Technician

We’re looking for an Assembly Technician who takes pride in clean, accurate work and wants to be part of a team building real infrastructure across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical piping systems, valve chambers, and packaged water systems
- Read and work from shop drawings, P&IDs, and assembly layouts
- Fit, align, and install valves, fittings, and pipe components
- Perform pressure testing and basic QA/QC checks
- Perform site visits as necessary to support customer installations
- Support welding, grooving, threading, and fabrication as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work with the team to keep projects moving and hit deadlines
- Physically fit with ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in mechanical assembly, pipefitting, or fabrication (preferred)
- Ability to read drawings and understand how systems go together
- Strong attention to detail — things line up, bolt up, and seal properly
- Comfortable working with hand tools and shop equipment
- Reliable, shows up ready to work, and takes ownership
- Background in waterworks, mechanical contracting, or industrial assembly preferred
- Forklift or shop equipment experience preferred
Shift Schedule
- Day shift: Monday -Friday 7 – 3pm
Compensation
- $26 – $34.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
