Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaping & Land Maintenance professional to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in various landscaping projects, requiring physical stamina and a passion for outdoor work. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to develop skills in landscape maintenance and construction.
This role includes but is not limited to lawn maintenance, spoftscaping, hardscaping & snow removal.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, and mulching
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators for site preparation and excavation tasks
- Perform irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Maintain gardens by trimming, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing plants
- Conduct general landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, and debris removal
- Use heavy equipment, power and hand tools for all-season maintenance
- Support construction activities related to outdoor projects such as retaining walls or pathways
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic mechanical repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Follow safety protocols during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents
Requirements
- Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is essential.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical systems used in landscaping
- Familiarity with excavation equipment such as excavators and skid-steers is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Construction experience or knowledge of landscape construction techniques is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or site travel purposes

Pay: $22.50-$28.50 per hour
