Jerry’s No Frills is located in the Town of Smithers, a picturesque town in northwestern British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and co-ordinate store clerks in receiving, handling and storing of merchandise to achieve optimal results
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
- Check invoices and product qualities, submit claims for shortages, quality issues
- Resolve issues that may arise including customer request, complaints and supply shortages
- Maintain pricing integrity and apply SAP applications
- Adhere to company standards and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed
- Perform front-end duties including cashiering as necessary occasionally
- Perform key holding and act as the manager on duty as required
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications/Experience
- Ability to lead and supervise in a efficient and effective manner
- Ability to learn and apply No Frills operating systems
- Physically fit with ability to lift up to 40 lbs/18.2 kg
- Ability to operate manual and powered jacks
- Ability to stand for a long periods of time
- Open availability
- Previous grocery /produce/ retail / warehouse experience of 1 to 2 years preferred
To the successful candidate, we offer competitive wage rates from $24 to $28.00 per hour plus a fully company funded benefits package after 3 months.
