Overview
Trafa Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented QC Associate – Raw Ingredients to oversee all quality-related activities for incoming and outgoing raw materials. This role is critical in ensuring that all materials meet internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards before release for production or distribution.

Duties
- Perform receiving verification of raw materials, including documentation checks (COA, specifications, supplier documents)
- Conduct physical inspection and sampling of incoming materials in accordance with SOPs
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, and status control of materials (quarantine, approved, rejected)
- Review and maintain quality documentation, including logs, sampling records, and release documentation
- Execute QC approval or rejection of raw materials based on specifications and supporting documentation
- Coordinate closely with Purchasing and Logistics teams to ensure timely material release and issue resolution
- Support management of supplier quality documentation and compliance requirements
- Oversee environmental monitoring of storage and warehouse areas (temperature, humidity, etc.)
- Assist in managing and documenting the pest control program
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and internal quality systems
- Participate in investigations, deviations, and corrective actions related to raw materials
- Maintain organized and audit-ready records at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong knowledge in Quality Management, Quality Control, or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, inspection techniques, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and other inspection equipment.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for effective data collection and recordkeeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems is preferred.
- Prior experience with data collection software or tools is a plus. This role is essential for ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards, supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
