Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for employees and visitors alike. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our organization by providing high-quality cleaning.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning and sanitation procedures as needed
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
- Follow established safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, however training will be provided
- Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle to get to and from in-town commercial building(s).
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards is an advantage
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures
