Now Hiring – Truss Builders & Wall Panel Production Team Members
National Truss Span is a proud, family-owned manufacturer of custom roof trusses, floor trusses, and prefabricated wall panels serving residential and commercial construction projects throughout Nova Scotia. As we continue to grow and expand our wall panel production, we're looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Stewiacke, NS.
We are currently hiring for:
- Roof/floor truss Builders
- All positions within wall panel shop (production, assembly, saw operation, quality control, and team leader)
Whether you're experienced in construction or manufacturing, or looking to learn a new trade, we'd love to hear from you. Experience in framing, truss manufacturing, wall panel production, or general construction is an asset, but we're happy to train the right candidates.
What You'll Do
- Assemble roof trusses, floor trusses, and prefabricated wall panels according to engineered drawings
- Safely operate hand tools and production equipment
- Read measurements and follow production specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Work efficiently with your team to meet production goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow instructions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Construction or manufacturing experience is an asset, but not required
What We Offer
- Competitive wages starting at $17.00/hour, with higher wages based on experience
- Monday to Friday schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (off early on Fridays!)
- 47 hours per week, paid weekly
