Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 310S Mechanic or Apprentice to join our automotive service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with a focus on quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Duties
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs using industry-standard tools and techniques
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Repair or replace engine components, transmissions, and other automotive systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts during repairs or upgrades
- Follow safety protocols including heavy lifting procedures and proper tool handling
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers
- Support team members with general maintenance tasks to ensure workshop efficiency
Skills
- Dealership experience is highly desirable for advanced troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, or related apprenticeship programs preferred
- Capable of heavy lifting safely in accordance with safety guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Familiarity with assembly processes for vehicle components or aftermarket parts
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
