We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team at Trophy Foods. This position is for an existing vacancy and offers the opportunity to:

Shift & Working Hours: Midnight Shift (10:45pm-7:00am)
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Practice safe work habits. Comply with all applicable legislative and Trophy Foods health and safety, food safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Service, cleaning, and perform preventative maintenance on all production and plant equipment both electrical and mechanical.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics both electrical and mechanical, understanding electrical code, building, and mechanical regulation are met or exceeded when determining the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment components for continuity, current, voltage, insulation, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, drives, servos, generators, industrial storage batteries, electrical controls, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the work area is always clean of debris and hazards, upon arrival and when departing each area of work.
- Interact with all employees positively and promote a cooperative working environment.
- Promote and comply with TROPHY’s Health and Safety policies and procedures including the wearing of PPE, Lockout, WHMIS, etc.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
- Welding and Fabrication experience would be an asset.
Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements:
- Must have Industrial Electrician License (442A) or (309A)
- 1 to 3 years of industrial, electrical, and mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret machine/electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Automation (PLC, VFD, Servo, HMI) experience would be an asset.
- Good communication skills with high energy, respect for diversity, reliability, and a can-do/team-first attitude.
- Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.
