Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves delivering products to customers, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. A valid commercial driver’s license and forklift experience are preferred to support smooth delivery and warehouse functions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Manage inventory in the warehouse, including moving, organizing, and storing items efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by maintaining professionalism and clear communication
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory counts, order picking, and stock replenishment
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred but not required
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license is required
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Experience in customer service or working directly with clients is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers effectively
