The Role
This is not a typical receptionist position.
This role is the front-end hub of the salon — responsible for selling services, bookings, client customer satisfaction and revenue generation.
Due to our extremely high foot traffic location, we are looking for someone who can:
Engage clients confidently
Recommend and sell services
Convert inquiries into bookings
Key Responsibilities
Manage all bookings (phone, online, walk-in) with accuracy
Maintain full control of the daily schedule (maximize capacity)
Actively recommend and sell beauty services and add-on. Actively sell and recommend retail and in-store sold beauty and skincare products.
Engage walk-in clients and convert interest into bookings
Educate clients on services, pricing, and options
Enforce salon policies (cancellation, deposits, service guidelines)
Maintain a clean, professional, and organized front desk
Support overall salon flow and team communication
Sales & Performance Expectations
Ability to confidently sell and recommend services
Convert walk-ins and inquiries into same-day or future bookings
Identify opportunities to upgrade or add services
Maintain a high level of professionalism while driving revenue
What We’re Looking For
Previous reception / front desk experience
Beauty industry knowledge (strongly preferred)
Strong communication and client service skills
Confident, polished, and professional presence
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
