Upscale Tavern in London's Northwest is hiring a qualified jr sous chef.
Candidate must
- have 2 yrs experience in a senior roll in a fast pace kitchen
- be a positive team player
- be able to lead the kitchen when chef is absent, and maintain a productive work environment
- have the ability to manage a busy service and lead up to 4 kitchen staff
- follow direction, work independently and follow recipe
- work well under pressure
Duties consist of but no limited to
- help organize the kitchen
- place daily veg orders
- assist in maintaining equipment, regular cleaning
- leading the kitchen in absence of Chef
- navigate guest dietary needs
- assist in ordering
Pay $21-23 per hour, Kitchen Tip Share program is $5-7per hour worked on top of wage
