Support Worker
Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17.
This role involves work-related care during the summer, excluding the period from July 10 to July 20.
The schedule is typically 4 to 5 days a week.
Dates and times are generally Monday and Friday, from 8:30/11:00 am to 4:30/6:30 pm, depending on the parents' work schedules.
Mom usually takes one day off during the week on most weeks.
Responsibilities:

Provide respite care and support with daily activities

Administer medications as instructed

Prepare meals meeting dietary needs

Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes

Offer companionship and plan engaging activities

Perform light housekeeping
Qualifications:

Experience in caregiving
-
Knowledge of medication procedures
-
Physical ability to lift and assist

Strong communication and caring attitude

Confidentiality commitment
Requirements:

Valid First Aid

Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check

CFS Intervention Check
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
