Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Dairy Clerk to join our Grocery team on a part-time basis at our location in Vermilion, AB . Reporting to the Assistant Food Store Manager.
What you’ll do:
Engage with customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking and displaying merchandise.
Follow opening procedures.
Follow safety procedures at all times.
Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
Follow department standards for stock rotation, including First In First Out (FIFO).
Work a variety of shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and focus on safety.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and customer service initiatives.

Who you are:
You are able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. Loads exceeding 50 lbs will be managed with lifting equipment or assistance in accordance with safety guidelines.
You are able to stand and move throughout your shift, including walking, bending, and reaching while staying active with tasks such as assisting customers, unloading freight and stocking shelves.
You are action oriented, customer focused and work well on your own.
You can handle competing deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions, valuing diverse perspectives to meet shared objectives.
