Overview
We are seeking a skilled B Pressure Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves fabricating and welding pressure vessels, ductwork, and other components in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates with experience in construction, machining, and operating various power tools are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on pressure vessels, ductwork, and related components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate and set up welding equipment, including plasma cutters and press brake machines
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precise fabrication
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Rigging materials and components safely for fabrication or installation processes
- Conduct basic machining tasks as needed for component fitting and finishing
- Assist with the assembly of welded parts into larger systems or structures
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Use crane or forklift as necessary for material handling within the work area
Experience
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding within manufacturing or construction environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabricating pressure vessels, ductwork, or similar structures
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience operating plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, cranes, forklifts, and hand/power tools
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Construction or manufacturing experience involving ductwork or assembly projects is preferred
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment while maintaining high-quality standards
