Hiring Full-Time Server – $18/hr + Tips!
Located at 1599 Hurontario Street at the QEW in Mississauga, The Underground Café (Mississauga) is looking for a daytime server! Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM.
Hourly pay is $18 plus tips. We’re a cozy café that also supports The Underground Theatre, where private events happen. You’ll serve café guests during the day and have the chance to help with some fun events! If you’ve got serving experience and love working with a friendly team, come grow with us!

About the Role
Located at 1599 Hurontario Street in Mississauga,we are looking for an energetic and personable server to join The Underground Café, with opportunities to assist with events at The Underground Theatre. In this role, you’ll help us create a welcoming environment for our daytime café guests and be part of special events in the adjacent theater. There’s room to grow with us as our events and café offerings expand!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient service to café guests
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
- Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Accurately handle cash/POS transactions
- Support and assist Chef with prep, café restocking, light cleaning, and ensuring the space is tidy and welcoming
- Support special events and private functions in The Underground Theatre (additional opportunities to assist with catering and event service)

Qualifications
- Previous barista experience (café or restaurant experience preferred)
- Basic math skills for handling payments for POS system
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude
- Interest in both daytime café service and occasional event support
