OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager - ON, the Order Picker ON ensures that orders are prepared and shipped without errors, efficiently and in a timely manner for our customers.
Will perform other related duties as requested by his immediate superior, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Pick merchandise 90 %
- Take the order sheets and go to the correct bin locations to recover the right number of products.
- Drive an order picker lift truck to access the bin location in the warehouse.
- Place the items on the conveyor.
- Collect the accessory boxes prepared by the storekeeper and ensure they are placed with the correct orders.
2. Health & Safety 5 %
- Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws.
- Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
3. Other 5 %
- Participate in the annual inventory.
- Complete various reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or vocational training.
- Excellent knowledge of English spoken and written.
- Experience operating an elevating platform order/stock picker.
- Reach truck experience is an asset.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar position.
- Experience with various RF scanners and wireless devices is an asset.
- Steel toe boots are a must.
- Being able to do repetitive tasks.
- Capable of working in an environment where the temperature varies
- Good physical endurance, being able to move goods regularly that are 60 lbs. and over.
