Duties:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on various vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections and tests to identify vehicle problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills:
- Strong automotive repair skills with a solid understanding of mechanical systems
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repair and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their concerns
- Knowledge of dealership procedures and standards for vehicle repairs
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair
