Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant functioning to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
- Manage and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Handle cash transactions, POS systems (including Micros POS), and financial reporting accurately
- Recruit, interview, and train new team members to foster a skilled and cohesive workforce
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all departments
- Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and team management to promote a positive work environment
- Address customer concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu offerings
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Extensive restaurant management background with strong knowledge of food industry standards
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Skytab or similar platforms
- Previous roles involving team management, interviewing, and training staff in hospitality settings
- Experience in customer service needed
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
