AltaCore Ltd. is currently hiring experienced Journeyman and Higher Level Apprentice Electricians for an upcoming industrial turnaround in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
This is a camp-based, out-of-town position working a 6 days on / 1 day off rotation. We are looking for electricians with strong industrial experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced turnaround environment.
Project Details

- Accommodations: Camp provided
- Heat trace experience is mandatory
- Pre-access drug & alcohol testing is required
Required Experience
Applicants must have previous industrial electrical experience, with hands-on heat trace experience.
Experience with the following is considered an asset:
- Heat trace installation, termination and troubleshooting
- Industrial cable and electrical installations
- Turnarounds, shutdowns and maintenance projects
- Working on active industrial/oil & gas sites
- Fast-paced, schedule-driven projects

Applicants must have valid:
Additional industrial safety certifications are considered an asset.
Requirements
- Alberta Journeyman Electrician certification or registered electrical apprenticeship
- Proven heat trace experience
- Valid required safety tickets
- Ability to successfully complete pre-access drug & alcohol testing
- Own basic hand tools and required PPE
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work safely and productively in a turnaround environment
