Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive or dealership environments, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable working with hand tools and power tools. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Painter will contribute to maintaining the aesthetic and protective qualities of our vehicles or facilities, ensuring high-quality results that meet company standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Apply paint, primer, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure proper mixing and color matching of paints and finishes
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials or equipment safely during the painting process
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and cleaning tools after use
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct inspections to ensure paint application meets specifications and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Experience with automotive or industrial painting preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Prior experience working with automotive or facility coatings is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a team environment
- Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
