Responsibilities
- Operate bag making machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other automated equipment to produce consistent, high-quality bags.
- Set up and calibrate machinery using blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to meet specific production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance continuously, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and machining processes.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality standards during production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
- Document production data, machine settings, and quality control checks accurately for reporting purposes.
Skills
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and CNC programming for efficient machine operation.
- Experience with welding, assembly, and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models; familiarity with SolidWorks is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, and basic math for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Knowledge of quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications consistently.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation for material handling is advantageous.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, packaging, and the use of CNC milling machines or CNC lathes enhances your versatility on the shop floor.
