Mint Property Management is looking for a reliable and motivated Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to assist with maintenance and repair work across our rental properties in Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding areas.
This is a flexible position ideal for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while managing their own schedule.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of residential property maintenance tasks, including:
- Painting and touch-up work
- Installing blinds and window coverings
- Drywall and wall repairs
- Caulking and minor finishing work
- Junk removal and property cleanups
- Conducting property inspections
- Light landscaping and seasonal maintenance
- Basic appliance maintenance and troubleshooting
- Minor repairs and general handyman work
- Coordinating and scheduling maintenance appointments with tenants
- Communicating updates and completed work with management
Assets / Preferred Experience
The following experience would be considered an asset:
- Flooring installation
- Basic plumbing or electrical knowledge
- Experience working in residential rental properties
- Ability to identify maintenance issues proactively
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and communication
- Ability to lift and move materials or junk when required
- Must be dependable, professional, and respectful when dealing with tenants
