MANA is seeking Full-Time Finishing Operators to join our growing team.
This position is responsible for preforming the General Operator and Labour duties in the finishing – shear and bundling end of our Bar Mill.

What you'll do as a Production Operator:
- Operate automatic & semiautomatic machinery and equipment in a continuous production operation.
- Observe gauges, video monitors and products to ensure correct operation of machine and verify product matches work orders and customer requirements.
- Banding bundles (automatically & manually for shipment according to work orders, job safety procedures and customer requirements.
- Staging bar bundles according to safe work procedures and shipment needs.
- Keeping the work area tidy and free of hazards through general housekeeping.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a Bar Mill/Steel Industry is an asset.
- Candidates must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts, rotating weekly – Days/Nights. Monday to Friday.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to weather dependent temperatures and dusty conditions - Hot working conditions/Cold working conditions
- Constant awareness of hazards in the workplace (i.e Crane Movement).
