Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience working in restaurant or kitchen environments. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring exceptional food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation activities including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining quality standards
- Support meal preparation for special events or catering as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, serving, and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Good understanding of the food industry standards and customer service expectations
- Prior kitchen experience is highly desirable; restaurant experience is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if needed
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism
Pay: $55,000.00-$57,200.00 per year
