Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high-quality standards across all phases of construction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and project flow.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating and bid evaluations using HeavyBid or similar tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and reporting to stakeholders.
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam for document review and collaboration.
- Lead project meetings, track milestones, and maintain detailed records of project activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or general contracting projects.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and project budgeting.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams and coordinating complex projects.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations within the construction industry.
- Civil engineering or construction management degree preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
This role is integral to the successful delivery of construction projects by ensuring efficient planning, execution, and completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Pay: $110,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
