We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Communicative Disorders Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a passion for supporting children, and a minimum of two years of experience working with pediatric clients.
Position Type: Part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time
Schedule: Evenings and weekends required
Compensation: $35-$40 per hour
Client Population: Pediatrics
Key Responsibilities
Provide therapy support to pediatric clients under the supervision of a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist.
Implement individualized treatment plans and activities designed to support communication, speech, language, and social interaction goals.
Assist with preparation of therapy materials, session documentation, and progress tracking.
Build positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
Collaborate with clinicians, caregivers, and team members to support client success.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a child-centred approach in all services.
Qualifications
Communicative Disorders Assistant diploma or equivalent recognized training.
Minimum of two years of experience working with pediatric clients.
Experience supporting speech, language, communication, and developmental goals for children.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while following clinical direction.
Warm, patient, reliable, and family-focused approach.
