Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Safely operate Cargo Van to transport mail and parcels within Hanover.
- 2 Days a week , 8:30 AM -2:30 PM. Extra days as on-call as required.
- Load and unload mail & Parcels, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, G License required.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or in a similar role for 2 years.
- Knowledge of the city is must.
- Security clearance required with fingerprints. 2 pieces of photo IDs required.
- Safety shoes and Vest is required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
